Job Summary:Setting up, running and analyzing planet formation computer simulations.Completed projects should be presented at conferences and then published inacademic journals.Education/Experience:* Must have a PhD degree in Planetary Science, Planet Formation, OrbitalMechanics, Celestial Mechanics or Computational Planetary Science with atleast a 3.0 GPA and 0 - 3 years of experience.* Knowledge of Terrestrial Planet formation, Planet migration, andCollisional processes is preferred.* Knowledge of the N-body codes commonly used in planet formation andevolution models is preferred, especially those known as Swift, SyMBA orLIPAD. Musthave a strong research interest and publication record in the dynamics ofsmall bodies in the Solar System, and/or planet formation and/or planetmigration.* Writing journal papers and presenting work at scientific conference isexpected.* A valid/clear driver's license is required.Special Considerations:Work assignment is in Boulder, Colorado. This is a 2 year limited termassignment.
