Mostduties assigned are project-specific and include data customization andautomation of repetitive tasks. Analysts coordinate updates and modificationsto the data layers, and apply quality control procedures on the data toensure its accuracy. Posting Job Description Job DutiesSupports themaintenance and development of various geospatial datasets. This includesusing GIS-specific software to create and edit geospatial data, developproject-specific databases, obtain geospatial data from other sources,perform spatial analysis, and prepare map figures.Reviews data and performquality assurance checks for adherence to quality specifications as requiredby client.Identifies and analyzes trends in errors, analyze systemic errorsand propose corrective measures to resolve them. Identifies and performsroutine automation improvements.Assists Sr. Geospatial Technician with QA\QCissues.Documents work processes. Posting Job Requirements Education,Experience, Knowledge and Skills Bachelor's Degree in Geography or arelated field with specialization in GIS.3+ years of GIS industry-relatedwork experience.Must be proficient in a number of computer applications, butmust specifically possess GIS software skills; proficiency using ESRIproducts and MS Office is required; knowledge of MapInfo is preferred.Musthave experience creating and editing geospatial datasets and be proficient incartographic and data visualization techniques.Provides good customerservice, is goal oriented, self-motivated, and has excellent problemsolving and decision-making skills.Possesses a high level of accuracy andattention to detail.Good organizational skills and the ability to meetdeadlines.Ability to communicate effectively.A working understanding orscripting languages is preferred (e.g. Python, VB script,JavaScript.)Intermediate database skills.A working understanding of machinelearning tools, raster analysis, and feature extraction techniques.CoreLogic offers an empowered work environment that encourages creativity,initiative and professional growth and provides a competitive salary andbenefits package.
