Situated at the gateway to the RockyMountains, Boulder is a family friendly city with a small town feel,consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the United States.Featuring a lively arts and culture scene, prestigious universities,Boulder is only miles from world class skiing, trails, and gorgeousmountain scJob OverviewPerform challenging and diverse product development efforts, providingmechanical engineering design services and support throughout all stages ofthe product development life cycle.Job Responsibilities * Develop mechanical components and system concepts that satisfy thecustomer's requirements. * Architect and design mechanical solutions by analyzing the performanceand feasibility of alternative concepts using theory, simulations, andmathematical models Implement and verify the mechanical design by using theappropriate EDA tools. * Deliver prototype units to customers by selecting components,procuring or fabricating models and supervising assembly. * Develop and execute mechanical design verification test plans perrequirements specifications to ensure prototypes meet design requirements. * Support the development and assembly of prototypes by providingdocumentation and assistance to ensure high quality prototypes are built in atimely manner.Education & Experience * Currently enrolled at an accredited institution for a Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical Engineering; Sophmore or Junior level standing * GPA of 3.0 or higher * Experience with Pro/E and/or SolidWorks is desiredAll offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a drugscreen and upon completion of a confidentiality agreement.Our Values and How We Lead behaviors guide our processes.
