Could include activities such as writing contracts, pricing,staffing, utilization management, program development, report creatingand distribution, process and tool improvement, or consultantenablement.Influences and enhances member perception of the Vizient brandthrough development of simple ways to distill compelling concepts fromdisparate parts of the business such as complex project delivery, memberimprovement opportunities, fee structure, and general benefits and overallvalue of a partnership with Vizient. Could include activities such asdesigning and/or coordinating design of sales support materials, includinggaining consensus and applying best practices in sales methodology to printedand electronic presentation materials.Oversees and leverages technology thatsupports member or internal processes; proactively identifies ways toimprove related technologyDesigns, creates, and/or leverages member orinternal reports that provide relevant insights into operating models andefficiency of delivery.Acts as a liaison between various functions anddepartments, can translate member/internal customer needs into actionabletasks, and drive those tasks to completion either through individual work orthrough others.Provides guidance to others and able to work through others;as the Consulting Operations Manager does not have any direct reports, a keycomponent of the role is influencing others by articulating needs and creatingQualifications:Bachelor's degree desired; MBA is preferredMinimum fiveyears of experience in a consulting sector.
