The Business Analyst is responsible for the product produced by the ProductDelivery team(s). This includes business and functional specifications,design, development and delivery of a product or enhancements. The BusinessAnalyst is empowered to break down and prioritize delivery of products andenhancements by value to the team and ultimately, the customer. The BusinessAnalyst will lead product ownership within the Product Delivery, crossfunctional team and influence the team to ensure the product meets the marketrequirements/needs, achieves the financial objectives and deliversoperational value to the customer.Working from with the initial Roadmap item created and prioritized by PlatformServices and as presented by the Product Manager, the Business Analyst willhave a detailed understanding and work in conjunction with their teams,pertinent customers and industry bodies where appropriate. The BusinessAnalyst will be the internal and external subject matter expert for theirproduct offering, and as needed for developing the right deliveries workingwith the Product Manager and key customers.As prioritized by the Platform Services Technology team, the BusinessAnalyst supports post deployment activities by working with support entitiesas a point of contact for enhancements and upgrade activities related toenhancements, again provided autonomy to prioritize ideas within the ProductDelivery lifecycle with their teams to ensure consistency with the ProductManager vision and Product Definition roadmap.Main Accountabilities: * Meet with customers and key stakeholders to identify what they need toachieve their business objectives. * Document workflows and results of business/process analysis andreview with all stakeholders. * Apply in-depth understanding of system structures and operations toensure solutions covering the business requirements works with overall designand strategic technology direction * Create and actively manage a refined product backlog by understandingand writing the business requirements for the product or feature, andtranslating these into epics, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria. * Prioritize the Product backlog and identify Minimum Marketablefeatures, Minimum Marketable releases, and Minimum Viable Product to drivedelivery of the most valuable features to the customer. * Further develop the Product Manager provided data and /or fact basedjustification for the priority order based on customer value propositions andbenefit analysis. * Business Analyst will work with the Product Manager to evolve, assessand reassess the benefit analysis and make it a reality to bring it tofruition with customers and team(s). * Provide subject matter expertise to customers, and team(s). * Provide validation of Epics, User Stories, Use Cases and AcceptanceCriteria. * The Business Analyst must be able to evaluate the issues and prioritizethem against existing acceptance criteria and work to be delivered. * Provide final feature and product sign-off and acceptance beforerelease. * Work with the Project Manager to ensure the right communication occursfor delivery progress, challenges and release dates to applicable ProductManagers, stakeholders, customers and senior leadership. * Responsible for reviewing change requests and acceptance of changesinto the product backlog. * Provide product expertise to communicate product features andfunctionality to the Product Manager and the commercial teams. * Support the team(s) by evaluating issues and prioritize themagainst the existing acceptance criteria and work to be delivered. * Provide mentoring and leadership for other Business Analysts in theFares / Rapid Reprice team.
