          Job Description This position is for a MySql Cluster Database Administrator to support the EADGE-T Product Team. Requires full software development life-cycle support, as well as working in an agile development environment. Solves complex application development problems. Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules. Responsible for developing and implementing applications. Develops plans for software systems from project inception to conclusion. Analyzes the problem and the information to be processed.
          Basic Qualifications As the MySQL Cluster Database Administrator (DBA) on the EADGE-T Product Team the candidate requires experience in the following: Relational database design, access, and administration on a mission critical system supporting large user base concurrent access and real time processing requirements. Experience should include design criteria as the proper use if indices and data types, transaction management, performance tuning, and backup and restore methodologies (online and offline). Knowledge of replication and high availability design and implementation. Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience a must. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment.
          The candidate will have experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management.

          *Depending on the project phase and requirements, personnel may be required to work hours and days corresponding to the customer’s work schedule.
          Desired skills MySQL Cluster database 7.1+ and configuration of MySQL database replication experience. Agile methodology experience. Net-centric, horizontal integration program expertise is a plus. Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking is highly desirable.
