Breakthru Beverage Colorado, a division of theBreakthru Beverage Group, is seeking exceptional individuals who are lookingto grow their careers while working at a world-class distributor of finewines, spirits, beers, bottled water, and other non-alcoholic products.High quality individuals are our best ingredients for success in thisthriving, established industry.Breakthru Beverage Colorado can offer you the perfect combination ofexceptional benefits and compensation, and superior industry training on alllevels in a high-energy environment.We have a new Off Premise Sales Associate opportunity with our Summit Winedivision to work in the southern Colorado/Colorado Springs area.The Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the sales of supplierbrands to the trade through effective territory planning, selling,merchandising and communication that enables the achievement of company andsupplier objectives.Responsibilities:Strategizes/preplans on how best to achieve sales and merchandisingobjectives by understanding company pricing and product programminginformation on a monthly basis and maintaining accurate historical accountpurchase information.Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating anestablished and efficient routing pattern.Analyzes entire account base byvisiting each account and identifying opportunities; completes all necessarysurveys and ensures national account compliance where applicable.Prepares anddelivers professional sales presentations to customers by balancing thecompany's priorities and customers' needs to include selling displayideas, new products, cold box, shelf, well and back bar placements andresets, drink and wine lists, and promotions.Understands and works withmanagement on inventory levels by being aware of current inventory and out ofstock situations and by alerting management to possible fluctuations indemand.Attains standards of performance goals by achieving the distribution,volume and activity goals of supplier brands as set by management.Ensuresmaximum brand visibility within accounts by maintaining account standards asdetermined by management and using effective and current point of salematerials when appropriate.Maintains product levels in accounts by takinginventory and restocking shelves (where legally permissable).Obtainspayments for company by collecting and delivering checks or other remittancefrom accounts where legally permissible.Educates account staff on prioritybrands by administering educational staff training seminars.Supports accountopenings by developing opening orders for new accounts in collaboration withField Sales Manager.Manages customer account receivables by timely processingof credits and returns and communicating with accounts on agedreceivables.Services accounts by delivering products to customers inextenuating circumstances, handling customer issues and complaints andreferring these issues, as appropriate to management.Maintains professionalrelationships with all suppliers by participating in effective supplier workwith sales calls, and sales blitzes.Remains informed of company/supplieractivities and updates by attending and actively participating in weekly salesmeetings.Completes all necessary training programs by attending,participating, and passing all required tests as defined by management.(e.g. WSSM, TOPS, FOCUS MARKETING, SFA).Maintains professional andindustry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewingprofessional publications and establishing personal networks.Maintainscustomer confidence and protects operations by keeping informationconfidential.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying withprocedures, rules and reg
