RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Business Development (BD) Director forour Denver market.Position Summary:Business Development Directors are responsible for driving growth of thefirm's professional services within targeted industry segments. BusinessDevelopment Directors are growth leaders and support the efforts of variousFirm industry teams through direct prospecting, networking, attendance andparticipation with various industry and professional groups and networkingassociations. Business Development Directors represent all services providedby our three primary functional areas: audit, tax and consulting. BusinessDevelopment Directors are responsible for leading all aspects of the salesprocess, including systematic prospect targeting, development ofopportunity-specific sales strategy, selection of pursuit teams and"quarterbacking" the entire sales process. They will build and maintainstrong sales pipelines and forecasts associated to substantiatedopportunities, prepare and facilitate presentations / proposals as well asclose sales and finalize agreements with customers. Business DevelopmentDirectors work closely with industry and line of business leaders inco-leading growth efforts throughout the firm.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree 10 years of experience withdemonstrated success in selling professional services corporations withrevenues ranging from $20 million to over $1 billion Demonstratedexperience leading complex sales processes that involve multiple team membersand multiple decision makers (primarily C-suite decision makers)Demonstrated experience working with, and contacts within the middlemarket, broadly defined as companies with revenues of $20 million to $1billionDemonstrated network of COI's (Centers of Influence) to includebanking, legal and other professional services relationships that could beleveraged to identify opportunities within assigned industry groups Experienceleveraging a CRM tool for report generation and sales trackingPrior experienceleveraging social media technologies for networking purposes Excellentinfluence and negotiation skillsMust be motivated and self-disciplined StrongtPreferred Qualifications:MBAActive network of C-level contacts in and aroundthe Denver market and surrounding markets Demonstrated community involvementand activity with industry associations, civic and/or non-profit groupsExhibit strong business acumen, skills and maturity Exhibit exceptionallystrong communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skillsExperience working for Big Four or other national firms a significant plus Youwant your next step to be the right one.
