Ambitious to launch your journey into Sales, you are eager and passionate to develop lasting client relationships and sustain existing accounts in Colorado. Applying your customer service mentality, you react swiftly in a quick paced environment. Working within the Gaylord, you will provide in-house sales for events working with the Operations team to ensure an outstanding, unforgettable end result. Additional duties include:

  • Business Development

  • Sales Volume - $500 thousand or more annually

  • Sells all appropriate Freeman offerings such as: carpet, furnishings, exhibit installation, dismantle, audio visual equipment and productions, global transportation, electrical services, corporate events, event communications, content development, delivery and measurement services, marketing solutions, etc.

  • Makes a constant effort to find new business. Prospects accounts through cold calls, networking, and referrals.

  • Accepts phone calls for call-in business and solicits business from various leads.

  • Prepares sales collateral and makes stand-up presentations when necessary. Modifies collateral as required to close the sale.

  • Obtains future schedule of client and solicits appropriate future business.

  • Quotes prices and credit terms.

  • Entertains clients as necessary.

  • Client Solutions

  • Produces and reviews orders with operational personnel.

  • Confirms jobs and requests necessary information to prepare service plan requirements.

  • Supervises jobs on site as required.

  • Responsible for event job costing.

  • Manages problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively to meet customer’s needs.

  • Responds to customer complaints and handles payment collection process as required.

  • Re-signs the existing business.

  • Miscellaneous

  • Prepares reports of business transactions related to account sales and account management.

  • Keeps track of expenses and submits travel expense reports as required.

  • Attends local and state industry meetings and functions as directed.

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationship with all operations teams.

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.


  • Minumum 1 + years of business experience.

  • Knowledge of sales tools and technologies.

  • Ability to achieve established goals.

  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications.

  • Demonstrated customer service skills.

  • Proven organizational skills.


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Bachelor's Degree
