Summary:

This high achieving

individual is responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. The

incumbent develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established

geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel. The role

will require strong capacity to understand the benefits of building

relationships internally, within a partner network and with both existing and

new customers.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Partner with Account

Managers and Consulting Services Leadership to sell Consulting Services

  • Partner with Practice

Vertical Leads, Practice Directors and Practice Managers to facilitate the

sales process

  • Manage and prioritize

requests from Direct Account Management teams

  • Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets

  • Attain

quarterly sales targets

  • Support

the sales cycle through scoping, approval, customer presentation, and contract

signing

  • Manage

sales portfolio to ensure proposals and estimates are delivered leveraging the

right processes, approvals, and quality

  • Present the Value of the Oracle Application for Customers

  • Explain

with confidence the value of Oracle software and Oracle Consulting Services to

clients

  • Become

trusted adviser to the Customer through implementation lifecycle and beyond

  • Team

with Account Management and Delivery teams to promote user adoption and

effective use of Oracle, and support renewal efforts

  • Collaborate

with Oracle partners during the sales process

  • Ensure High Customer Satisfaction and Referencability

  • Responsible

for adhering to high quality standards in sales process

  • Manage

executive-level customer relationships

  • Maintain

connection with Delivery leadership

  • Contribute

to company’s focus on verticalization through participation in internal

cross-departmental initiatives

Preferred Qualifications/Skillsinclude:

  • At least 5 years ofrelevant field sales experience. Informationtechnology professional services sales experience strongly preferred.

  • ERP and/or Cloud solutionsales experience. Specific NetSuiteand/or Oracle ERP solution knowledge strongly preferred.

  • Broad range of industryvertical knowledge.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication andnegotiation skills.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.

Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

5-8 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
