The idealcandidate will have solid foundations in C#, SQL and agile developmentusing Git and Visual Studio.The individual will work with project teams to better understand roadblocksand bottlenecks in design data workflows from processes and procedures to CADDauthoring technologies and connected data architecture.Duties:Develop Revit and AutoCAD Add-ins to streamline design deliveryManage MS SQL Server databases for projectsProvide support to project teams using design automation toolsWork with Design Services leadership to update design execution standards(workflows, processes, tools, etc.) based on project executionWorks to meet BC coding standardsKey Skillsets:Meticulous error handling and source control practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in an agile project delivery environmentLeverages the strength of teamworkTakes initiative, is accountable, and makes things betterPreferred Skillsets:Ability to distil complex thoughts and strategies into simple, memorableterms that colleagues and clients without IT and/or IS backgrounds can graspand act uponUnderstanding of the design production environment, particularly in thefield of water and wastewater engineeringProven interdisciplinary skillset and passion for creativity and workflowprocess improvementsSoftware and Technical Proficiencies:C# and familiarity with SQL libraries (knowledge of Autodesk/Revit APIsa plus)MS SQL Server management basicsAdvanced Excel Skills: Pivot tables, external data sources, lookupfunctions, etc.Basic software proficiency with either SharePoint or Access Join, Grow,Have FunWe're growing and having fun while doing it.
