Innovation Team AnalystInnovation Team Analyst - Government Position - Degree in Math,Statistics, Science, field preferred!ESSENTIAL DUTIESCollect and organize information from a variety of sources, such as computerdatabases.Examine information to determine what elements are relevant and what methodsshould be used to analyze them.Use statistical analysis or simulations to analyze informationDevelop practical solutions to problems.Advise managers and other decision makers on the impacts of various courses ofaction to take in order to address a problem.Help ensure the process and outcomes of solutions can be measured andmonitored to quantify innovation resultsIn addition to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) already tracked by thecompany, this position will assist with additional tracking, reporting andcitizen feedback systems as needed.Develop and leverage data to track how things are working, trends overtime, what has been tried and to what effect.Collect, prepare and transmit department statistical data and ensure thatthe extracted data meets established formatting guidelines as required;develop simple queries and maintain them; produce various reports usingappropriate programs.Provide advice on the appropriate use and access of computer programs;Interpret detailed data and develop accurate, meaningful, and reliablereports in a timely manner.Minimum QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESBroad-based knowledge of any or all of the following fields:Human Centered DesignStatistics and analyticsProject management and supportPublic finance and micro/macroeconomics; andPerformance measurementOperations Research ExpertiseExperience in public participatory processes and inclusiveness, includingpublic involvement process, design and externalization methodsAbility to use advanced analytical methods, Human Centered Design andIndustrial engineering approachesComplex decision making, simulations, stochastic models and systems theoryexperience a plus.Effective group interaction and facilitationGeographic information systems experience and/or educationExpertise in ideation, critical thinking and collaborationExpertise in Power Point, animations and other visualization tools andtechniquesMINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEUnderstanding of the mechanics of government is highly desirableBachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Science, or other pertinentfield.
