Where Care Meets Career.JobSeeker Consultant (WIOA) Denver - WFS ResponsibilitiesJob Seeker Consultant (JSC) will work with WIOA and/or TANF customers topre-screen and refer candidates to fill current job openings, training orinternship Opportunities will manage relationships with businesses to developjob leads, conduct talent searches utilizing Connecting Colorado,ResCareWorcs, public search engines, etc.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesManages a caseload of participants and provides employment counseling andcoaching.Conducts regular ongoing career coaching services for participant what havebeen identified as job ready, participating in job search, educationactivities, job retention services, on -the -job training,resume/cover letter development and/or job readiness activities.Develops and fills job placement, vocational training, on-the-jobtraining, or internship opportunities.Delivers on performance goals related to career coaching,training/internship/employment entry, and administrative timeliness andqualityPrepares, organizes, and maintains accurate, updated information in bothelectronic and paper formats reflecting history employment, job readinesspre-screenings and contacts with business contacts.Collect and upload current job posting information in system ofrecord/central order unit.Develops and refers qualified candidates to current job opening and placement. Follow is with business contacts to verify job entry.Works well in teams, business customers and other staff.Able to communicate effectively to both oral and written.Ability to use Workforce Solutions assessments tools.Additional duties as assignedSpecific RequirementsEducationRelated Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, orequivalent work experienceQualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated customerservice skills. Familiarity with the communities being served, withknowledge and understanding of local needs and resources. Demonstratedknowledge of labor market trends. Public speaking experience.
