The Corporate Manager - Operations Strategy and Innovation

will work on high priority COO initiatives by collaborating with senior operating

leaders of DaVita Healthcare Partners. Topics will likely include:

Large-scale improvement programs and operating

model changes to drive efficiencies and adapt to US healthcare industry changes

·

Organizational / behavioral change management

strategies and tactical plans

·

Operationalizing growth strategies and operation

innovations across Kidney Care, International, Medical Group and DaVita

Strategic Business Units

·

Business unit-specific operations strategy

·

Integrated care business model development

The Manager will lead a team of highly motivated

individuals with management consulting, process improvement, and clinical

experience, and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams and communicate

recommendations to business unit leads and senior executives.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·

Leads implementation of large-scale business

improvement programs

·

Demonstrates first-principles thinking in

analyzing problems and engaging with teammates

·

Leverages hypotheses-based approach to identify,

validate and quantify opportunities

·

Develops and executes change management

strategies and tactical plans to help individuals adopt change and modify

behavior consistent with intent of change initiatives

·

Manages project stakeholders to be supportive of

change and actively engage as sponsors

·

Identifies adoption, adherence, and outcome

metrics and designs measurement processes to reinforce change effectiveness

·

Develops and improves credible and pragmatic

analytical approaches and frameworks

·

Leverages continuous improvement tools (Lean,

Six-Sigma, PDCA) to structure and incubate improvement opportunities

·

Collaborates across functional lanes on process

improvement projects

·

Recognizes, documents and shares best

demonstrated practices across the enterprise

·

Masterfully articulates the “Why?” behind change

programs to help create a shared vision

·

Builds complex models, conducts financial

planning / analyses to assess impact on business metrics

·

Conveys findings in a cohesive story, including

summarizing insights from analysis; Builds appropriate horizontal and vertical

logic in presentation decks

·

Presents comfortably and compellingly to senior

audiences

·

Works closely with teammates in the clinics and

develops long-standing relationships with operators and clinicians

10%-25% travel may be required

4-6 years of work experience in management

consulting, change management, process engineering, or project implementation

·

Experience supporting large-scale implementation

or business transformation teams with tangible impact on operating/financial

performance

·

Healthcare background preferred
