We work directly withpartners in providing us opportunities in the SMB markets; we enable themerchant's point of sale technology to take payments! This position willchallenge you to work close ly with all lines of business to maximize yourearning potential. You will plans, direct, and negotiates the close ofmerchant business through the use of ethical, competitive practices and thedevelopment of strong business relationships with internal and externalpartnerEssential Functions include the following. Others may be assigned.* Negotiates and closes merchant business while maintaining high close ratesand profitability* Works to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas using establishedsales techniques and consistently meets Vantiv customer contact timelines* Creates and nurtures effective relationships with partners in order toenhance both the sales pipeline and the Vantiv sales channel* Creates opportunity for new partner relationships through interaction withthe business public- accomplished by listening, research, creativethinking and personal initiative* Maintains a high degree of ethical behavior in all aspects of daily businessincluding relationships with merchants, partners, and co-workers* Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all Vantiv employeesand departments by keeping a positive attitude and a collaborative focus inall interactions* Manages and organizes a high level of productivity through the effective useof all available resources including email, phone, SalesForce, and othersystems* Actively pursues a commitment to self improvement both professionally andpersonally. Sales Executives are expected to take initiative and developindustry knowledge and perpetuate the Vantiv culture* Adhere to company policies as defined* Accept and complete assignment with open, cooperative, positive, andteam oriented attitudes* Actively participate in team meetings and 1 on 1 communications* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of applicable products andservices as they evolve* Increase knowledge through internal resources, supervisors, fellowemployee's, company trainings, and trade publicationsQualifications - to perform this position successfully, an individual mustbe able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily. The requirementslisted below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilityneeded or desired.Education and Experience* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.* Minimum two years previous sales experience, preferably inside/telesalesexperience.Preferred KnowledgeKnowledge of interchange rates a plus.
