Position Title Operations Manager (Denver, CO) Auto Req ID 57439BR Job Description OVERVIEWThe Mobile Engineering Services Operations Manager is responsible for theday-to-day operations for Engineering and Maintenance. The Operation Managerhas the overall responsibility of ensuring that a safe, efficient, andcost effective delivery of services is provided to the client and buildingoccupants.DUTIES * Maintains daily working staff levels pursuant to the goals of theoperation and the needs of the facilities. * Ensures that engineering staff is qualified and trained to perform theduties they are expected to carry out as Lead and or Route engineers. * Identifies maintenance objectives and incorporate those objectives intoa documented plan that includes preventive, predictive and reactivemaintenance procedures. * Identifies safety hazards and incorporate the remediation of suchhazards to ensure that the building s staff and route engineer s work in asafe environment. * Ensures compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines are met, asthey relate to the operation of any of the building s infrastructure. * Works with Property and Project management to assist in the developmentof a Capital work plan, which includes planning for infrastructureupgrades, equipment replacements, and building modifications in order toensure the building s future capabilities are maintained. * Ensures client project support is provided. This includes ensuring thatthe contractors are informed and knowledgeable to the building s criticalfunctions and the work they are to perform. * Ensures that all owner/landlord processes are communicated andunderstood among the engineers and contractors who perform work on thebuilding s critical infrastructure. * Ensures participation in the company s purchasing initiatives byengineers for parts and materials is needed to perform routine and non-routinetasks. * Gathers of information as requested by management for businessreporting purposes. * Performs on site Quality Assurance inspections of maintainedfacilities. * Manages Mobile Engineering Services (MES) team resources. * Any other duties as assigned by the Regional Operations Manager.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * 2-year college/vocational degree, preferred * Minimum 8 years of technical and supervisory experience in buildingengineering * Strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC equipmentrepair, maintenance and overall system design and application * Solid skills in maintaining interior and exterior of buildings. * Plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES * Valid Driver s License * Universal CFC Recovery CertificationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Able to manage, lead, and influence others on the team * Proven ability to communicate, effectively written and verbally with peers, management, contractors, and vendors * Skilled in use of tools and machinery required by position (e.g.,basic hand & power tools, aerial lift, electric voltage meter) * Personal Characteristics: Team player, hard worker, goodinterpersonal skills, and excellent client-related skills * Shows and exhibits diplomacy at all times * Must have an excellent working knowledge of computer-based applicationsand programs (e.g., Word, EXCEL)WORK CONDITIONS * Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation * Ability to work in construction /distribution environments that maybe noisy, unlit, unheated, not air-conditionedStart a lasting career with JLL today!Total Rewards reflects JLL s investment in employees needs andpreferences in Career, Recognition, Well-being, Benefits and Pay.
