Senior IT Project Manager:Lead and/or support planning, development andmanagement of key operational projects, partnering with business owners,team members and other key personnel across various departments.Meets withinternal clients, the supervisor, and other managers to determine projectneeds and gather and document requirements.Communicates with clientsthroughout the project life cycle to manage customer expectations, resolveissues, and provide project status.Proactively manages change in projectscope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.Preparesproject work plan, scope, schedule and budget, and communicates these toproject team members; monitors/manages project production for compliancewith schedule, budget and quality objectives.Schedules and coordinatesproject meetings with the project team, clients, and others involved withthe project.Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones usingappropriate tools like MS Project and SharePoint.Tracks project milestones anddeliverables and communicates status to the team.Develops and deliversprogress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, andpresentations.Identifies and manages project dependencies and criticalpath.Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the projectteam, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas.Schedule,coordinate and participate in project meetings with the project team,regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved with theprojects.Work with all stakeholders to articulate achievable goals,requirements and schedule.Provide updates to stakeholder via regular statusmeetings and publishing status reports.Work with Project Portfolio Manager tocompile information for creation of presentations as requested.Manage multipleprojects in parallel, including highly complex projects, including newprojects and major enhancements to existing systems.Supervise technicalprofessionals, associate project managers and design staff includingworkload and staffing management.Identifies new business opportunities for thefirm, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients andother external groups, and promotes firm's capabilities, marketing itsservices among existing and prospective clients.Participates in projectopportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation offirm's qualification/experience statements.Manage Statement of Work (3rdparty vendor) through project lifecycle to ensure all contracteddeliverables have been achieved (where applicable).Manage financial,scope, and critical path schedule for assigned projects.
