University Information Systems (UIS) provides technical services andenterprise applications to the University of Colorado campuses and the Officeof the President. Through the development of enterprise applications, UISsupports the University as a whole with systems used by students, faculty,human resources employees, finance employees, and others.The integrated PeopleSoft landscape includes Campus Solutions, HCM,FSCM, and CRM. The PeopleSoft Developer role exists to serve as a technicalexpert in managing the underpinnings of the Campus Solutions (CS) andother PeopleSoft environments. The position will work with the CS applicationmanagers in UIS to manage enhancements, bundle applications, testing,and production support. UIS will be relying on this position to bring criticaltechnical skills to CS and other applications, including PeopleSoftIntegration Broker and PeopleSoft software development lifecycle.This position has the ability to work from home, which must be within a 90minute commuting distance,on some days and work at the office the otherdays. There is also a potential that this position would need to work afterhours and/or on-call, if a production issue arises, but this is not anoften occurrence.Duties and Responsibilities:The PeopleSoft Developer position will be responsible for the following withinCampus Solutions modules:Application development such as:Required enhancementsIntegration Broker development/managementConfiguration updates/changesCompare report analysis / testing from bundle applicationsRetrofits and analysis of technical impactsResearch and troubleshooting of software errorsCommunication with UIS and campus offices, as neededFacilitating collaboration and encouraging knowledge and technical processsharingProduction support being on call, troubleshootingReviewing and aiding general development effortsDeveloping technical specifications and unit test plansPrimary support for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, can also include CRM, HCMor Finance application supportSupport Campus Solutions Admissions module and Admission Application WebServicesWho we are:System Administration, which also houses the Office of the President, islocated in the uptown neighborhood of Denver with an office in Broomfield anda few smaller offices located on the campuses.
