If you have the desire to make areal difference in people's lives and become part of a growing organizationthat treats you like member of the family - you will feel right at home atGilbPRIMARY FUNCTION: The Scheduler II is responsible for developing andmaintaining all levels of schedules, for proposals, preconstruction anddetailed construction schedules.TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Scheduler II typical responsibilities andduties include, but are not limited to the following:Manage and control all scheduling data through project management software(Primavera P6, P3, Suretrak)Define and document project scope, guidelines, and coordination ofresources to execute the project scheduleDetermine the critical paths required to meet the overall project completiondate, modify critical paths based on prevailing conditions, and consultwith project leadership teams to develop workarounds to overcome obstaclesParticipate in logistical and delivery and work force planning with projectpersonnel, and incorporate into a CPM scheduleIncorporate code and permitting issues in project schedulesSupervise entry level employees in administrative tasks related to schedulingEstablish and implement project scheduling update proceduresPrepare monthly project schedule updates including written narrative andcustom reports as neededEstablish and maintain complete and accurate project scheduling files requiredfor assigned project, or required per regional requirements all scheduleupdatesRead and translate Owner/CM contract to determine project controlsdeliverablesParticipate in Customer Expectations Process to ensure that client needsrelative to project controls are identifiedMake recommendations concerning the project change process as it relates toscheduleDetermine contractual requirements concerning schedule and delay, especiallynotification requirements and make recommendations accordinglyCoordinate work efforts with others and follow up as required to supportproject requirementsMonitor, follow and identify to others issues that require resolutionEstablish and maintain document filing and retrieval systems both hardcopy andelectronicEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBS or MS in Engineering, Architecture or appropriate field of study desiredExperience supporting Federal projects (DoD, USACE, NAVFAC)3 years of experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project programs inconstruction projectsFamiliarity with Microsoft Project layouts utilized for invoicing,cost-loading, and performance reports (S-curve data)Computer skills utilizing MS Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF programsFormal education with Primavera P6 and Microsoft project desiredOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESProficient with Primavera P6, Suretrak, Adobe CS3 and Microsoft Officesoftware, including Microsoft ProjectExcellent total compensation package which includes competitive health andwelfare benefits, generous profit-sharing/401k plan, as well astechnical and management training programs.Gilbane has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring abouteveryone involved in our work.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employmentsubstance abuse test.Gilbane is not accepting unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters atthis time.Job LocationDenver, Colorado, United StatesPosition TypeFull-Time/RegularGilbane is an Equal Opportunity E
