An experienced financial reporting accountant performing assigned month end accounting functions at an advanced level; quarterly reporting, year-end audits and special projects. The Sr Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for assisting in preparing the financial statements and analyzing the results. This position will also be a primary contact with the external auditors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 40% Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of financial results packages
  • 20% Monthly Close
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Prepare reconciliations
  • Present at monthly P&L; and cost center reviews
  • 20% Audit
  • Assist with managing the external auditors fieldwork team
  • Prepare PBC’s
  • Respond to auditor requests
  • 10% Controls
  • Review and documentation of key controls
  • 10% Other Tasks As Assigned
  • Special projects

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of previous accounting experience required
  • BS Degree in Accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • “Big 4” experience preferred
  • Month-end close experience, including journal entries and reconciliation required
  • Financial reporting experience preferred
