We’re seeking a Manager,Strategic Sourcing based in our Englewood, CO Corporate Office to:

Responsibilities

  • Network across Western Union globally.

  • Build strong relationships withstakeholders and develop sourcing strategies which help support theirbusiness within the Contingent Labor and Professional Services categories

  • Identify opportunities for increasedcompetitive bidding, smarter supplier relationships and more efficientprocesses.

  • Collaborate with teams across theglobe to speed up innovation and support the customer appropriately

  • Know the supply market as it relatesto Contingent labor no matter the industry (or have the research skills tobe able to come up to speed quickly) in order to educate stakeholders andmake better decisions around price and quality

  • Manage robust supplier selectionprocesses using market analysis, concise “Request For Proposals”, with adata driven approach

  • Conduct supplier negotiationsincluding drafting and executing contracts, negotiating pricing,monitoring unit cost reduction performance and management of supplierrelationships along with creating a savings opportunity for the categoryannually

  • Work with A/P, Purchasing, HR, Legal,Privacy, IT, InfoSec and internal business units and other appropriategroups to determine areas of opportunity for process improvement,aggregation of purchases, total cost reduction, etc.

  • Develop Category Strategies forContingent Labor and Professional Services commodities which outline anddefine the markets and supply strategy to assist internal Business Unitsdecision makers on the appropriate sourcing methodologies based on marketconditions and cost components identified by the category strategy

  • Deliver cost savings and costavoidance annually

Minimumqualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practicalexperience

  • Contingent Labor and or ProfessionalServices/Consulting\ category expertise required

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience,including experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing and contractmanagement

  • Negotiation and Contract Managementexperience

Preferredqualifications

  • Experience in Supplier Sourcing andContract Management

  • Experience with developing CategoryStrategies for the Contingent Labor and Professional Services categoriesglobally

  • Experience managing a de-centralizedcategory at a Fortune 500 company and driving results

  • Strong influencing/negotiation skillsand change management experience with the ability to successfully managecomplexity and multiple priorities

  • Quick learner with interest inunderstanding and applying global supplier best practices

  • Excellent communication andpresentation skills

  • Consulting experience
