Location: Santa Clara, CA or Denver, CO

The primary role of this position is to design and deliver new innovative solutions for our Salesforce CRM implementation. We have recently implemented a new global Sales and Services CRM instance and our business partners are excited to expand on the capabilities. The architect is responsible for leading technical and functional design discussions with our business partners and technology teams. The architect will partner with the SFDC project teams to review code and designs to ensure they adhere to best practices and provide robust and scalable solutions. This individual must also have experience evaluating third-party tools in a Salesforce environment and assessing their impact to overall platform stability and performance. Must have very strong experience with integration architecture, knowledge of different integration patterns in both cloud to cloud and cloud to on premise scenarios.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Drive architecture and design technology solutions for solving business problems, while authoring technical specifications and detailed design documents Identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture Solid understanding of IT systems including system design, Object Oriented Design, databases and programming concepts specifically HTML, browsers, Javascript, Web Services and AJAX. Integration experience within the Salesforce space (REST, SOAP, ESB) Expert understanding of architecting Salesforce Salesforce Technical Architect Certification Understands the importance of having formal business processes and controls Strong understanding of how Salesforce CRM application is integrated with the backend financial systems and processes (Order to Cash, etc.) Strong hands-on technical experience in Salesforce application implementation and integration with financial applications Cross-functional experience; able to work with the group leaders from Sales, Services and Finance to constantly improve business processes for fast-growing organization as needed.
