Combined Technical Services General Clerk II in Fort Carson, Colorado

-- This position requires familiarity with the terminology of the office unit.-- Performs as a Data Collector for the FWSI effort.-- Data collected will encompass Performance, Human Systems Integration,and Reliability, Availability and Maintainability.-- Monitors test player activities and records observations onto laptopdevices and/or paper data collection forms. Knowledge of use of a computeris required.-- Performs quality control on collected data and information.-- Selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures or makessimple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantiveguides and manuals.-- May walk across unimproved terrain in a field environment setting whilecarrying a laptop, GPS, field gear, and other items for data collection.-- Will use a GPS to determine field site grid coordinates.-- May drive a rental vehicle to travel to and from the test site from a fieldassembly.-- The clerical steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on the task.-- Recognized problems are referred to others.-- Performs other duties as assigned.-- The general clerk II will be working approximately 8 to 12 hours a dayduring pilot (4-5, 8-9 May) and record (15 May-12 Jun) testingSECURITY REQUIREMENTS: US Citizenship is required Active security clearance is desired but not required Valid State driver's license and car insurance for access to military installations and travel Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator's permit for assigned class of vehicle Must be able to work on Fort Carson, CO
