Days and hours will vary Monday-Sunday, full-time position, salarynegotiable depending on experience, paid monthly.Requirements:- Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, or Information Management froman accredited College or University; or equivalent combination of educationand experience.- 2 years advanced experience using Excel (i.e. pivot tables, etc.) ina professional or healthcare setting.- Relevant professional experience demonstrating keen analytical andproblem solving skills.- Knowledge of revenue cycle management concepts highly desired.- Experience in medical billing or accounting (i.e. insurance billingcycles) preferred.- Knowledge of advanced and routine computer programs and softwareapplications.- Applicable data privacy practices and laws.- Revenue cycle management principles and concepts.- Organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures.- Organizational sensitivity regarding complex relationships with federal,state and local agencies/partners, government entities, and grant funders.- Strong attention to detail, organization and accuracy of information,including the ability to organize large amounts of data and track multipleprojects simultaneously, setting priorities for analysis and use inconsultation with numerous stakeholders.- Proficiently use advanced Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge toanalyze, report data, and develop communications.- Work independently and as a collaborative team member, maintaineffective working relationships, and foster a cooperative work environment.- Plan, organize, time manage and prioritize competing tasks andassignments while managing stakeholder expectation.- Work with minimal direction and be very flexible to coordinate complexactivities that are often subject to rapid or extensive changes.- Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations,and/or software application manuals.- Communicate difficult, complex information in a precise andeasy-to-understand manner, both orally and in writing with a wide range ofindividuals and constituencies.- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and data.Duties: Under limited supervision, provides analysis and reporting formultiple and expanding payor contracts, including government fundedcontracts with state oversight agencies. Interacts with multiple stakeholdersacross various agencies regarding data analysis, revenue reconciliation,and other reporting needs. Uses high level analysis and knowledge to decreasepayor claim rejections and maximize reconciliation outcomes.- Create, produce, and distribute monthly reports of key performanceindicators and business partner activities for management and departmentalreview, utilizing data from electronic health record (EHR), data warehouseand other sources.- Explain current status versus target status to various stakeholderswhile maintaining organizational sensitivity.- Work with state oversight agencies to submit data and corrections asrequired.- Assist next level supervisor with records submission to externalagencies as needed, and to meet funding requirements.- Aid next level supervisor with audits, reconciliation, analysis,corrections and special reporting needs.- Analyze trends in accepted and denied encounters and claims to reduceerror rates and ensure accurate reporting.- Assist in setup, testing, maintenance and trouble-shooting related tosubmission of records to external agencies as assigned by next levelsupervisor- Monitor contract and performance measures related to BHO and statereporting as directed by next level supervisor.- Document all related processes and procedures to effectively transitioninstitutional knowledge and increase efficiencies.- Perform other duties as assigned.Equal Opportunity Employer
