Days and hours will vary Monday-Sunday, full-time position, salarynegotiable depending on experience, paid monthly.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, BusinessAdministration or related field- 5 years recent revenue cycle management experience in a healthcareenvironment- Experience working as an effective member of management- Strong background in financial management and knowledgeable of federaland state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management- A change agent and capable of guiding the organization in changemanagement initiatives with the view of leading and guiding theorganization toward the future- Effective judgment, negotiation and decision-making skills- Advanced knowledge of electronic and manual health care billing andcollection systems.- Advanced knowledge of revenue cycle systems.- Advanced knowledge of third-party insurance, government sponsoredinsurance and regulations, and types of insurance plans.- Advanced knowledge of healthcare billing, finance, accounting,budgeting and cost control procedures.- Advanced and routine computer programs and software applications.- Advanced and routine office management practices and operating procedures.- Human resources concepts, practices, policies and procedures.- Workplace policies and professionalism.- Thoroughly analyze all forms of revenue cycle transactions.- Prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.- Proactively address potential issues in a timely manner with sounddecision making and problem solving ability.- Perform basic to advanced mathematical calculations.- Read, interpret, and apply information from multiple resources.- Positively and effectively communicate both orally and in writing witha wide range of individuals and constituencies.- Work independently and as a team member, maintain effective workingrelationships, and foster a cooperative work environment.- Maintain confidentiality.Duties: Responsible for reviewing, designing, implementing and directingthe transformation of key revenue cycle business processes to improveoperation efficiency and revenue; researching, consulting and recommendingpolicies and procedures of revenue cycle activities; and the ongoingidentification and implementation of revenue cycle workflow redesign thatdrives revenue cycle operational performance, helps the agency operateaccording to industry benchmarks, and meets key financial and productivitymetrics.- Works collaboratively with other leaders and consults with revenue cycledepartments including but not limited to Access, Front Desk, Billing andvarious clinical departments.- Researches and analyzes basic and complex issues surrounding the revenuecycle processes and systems and makes recommendations surrounding improvingprocesses, efficiency and practices.- Proactively seeks opportunities to identify revenue cycle inefficiencies,research data, and create solution alternatives.- Assesses the business use and functions of revenue cycle applicationsystems providing recommendations for optimization as necessary.- Develops and implements revenue cycle improvement solutions for revenuecycle departments.- Documents and maintains revenue cycle standard operating procedures ofnewly implemented practices.- Analyzes and identifies trends in revenue cycle operations. Uses thisdata to develop and implement process redesign solutions.- Monitors the performance of revenue cycle activities utilizing currentmonitoring tool sets and performance metrics. Creates new performancemetrics to address and manage new performance issues.- Compiles and prepares regular status reports to upper management toanalyze trends, make recommendations and provide revenue cycle status.- Facilitates revenue cycle improvement communications across therevenue cycle.- May provide training to impacted revenue cycle areas.- Formulates and makes recommendations to leadership on policies andpractices relating to re
