Sales ManagerA. BROAD SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager toattract, retain, and develop talent of the store to achieve the highestlevels of customer service to our valued Kum & Go customers. The AssistantManager will work to meet and exceed customer expectations while working inpartnership with Kum & Go leadership and store associates. This positionwill be trained within all areas of the store and will conduct a majority ofthe General Manager daily functions in their absence. The Assistant Managerwill understand and execute the Company Vision through standard operatingprocedures and is responsible for day-to-day store operations. ACTIVITIES: Please list primary duties and responsibilities which areessential parts of this job along with the percent amount of time spent oneach duty and or responsibility.% ofTime Principal Functions of the Job80% Operational Execution Maximize store sales with high level of execution ofmerchandising and marketing programs. Ensure Kum & Go s proven process for store conditions are met. Proficiently executes job responsibilities within the followingareas: associate orientation, customer orientation and foodpresentation/concept execution (ie: daily books, completing CGOcounts, completing daily checklist, training associates, following foodconcept program guidelines). Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing companystandards. Assess store condition and customer service levels and correctissues with limited direction. Assist in managing controllable cost by being educated onprocedures for reducing inventory control, cash control, margin objectivesand day-to-day operations expenses. Execute the store specific Playbook Communication System elements.20% Talent Development & Leadership Assist in recruiting, training and developing the bestassociates to drive a high performance team using Kum & Go s managementtools (GUEST, SOPs, etc.). Assist in coaching and developing a successful team ofassociates that consistently exceed customer expectations. Motivate and engage the store team to execute store goals. Demonstrate an ability to support a positive work environment. Promote the Kum & Go vision and values internally and externally. Exhibits professionalism in appearance, conduct and judgment. Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Kum & Gomanagement and staff in a professional and expedient manner.C: SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Position has supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities inaccordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, andevaluation of assigned unit, department, or group. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training orcausing the training of employees within assigned unit, department, or group. Responsible for ensuring the performance management assessmentfor each individual within the assigned unit, department, or group isconducted and completed according to company policy no less than once every 12months. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:This position will receive close daily/hourly supervision. This positionwill have access to supervision as needed to resolve issues or problems.
