Responsible for preparing Final loan documents and closing packages within established guidelines. Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting guidelines, escrow/title practices, as well as regulatory compliance laws as they apply to mortgage transactions. Auditing of loan documents/ funding packages for completeness and accuracy.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Reviews loan packages for completeness, accuracy and preparation of closing documents that adhere to loan approval, lock confirmation, product guidelines, insurance requirements and state and federal regulations
Draws final loan documents
Prepare and orders wire transfers.
Validate fees and balance loans prior to ordering funds.
Ensures all closing conditions have been satisfied.
Ensures accuracy of information in final documents through matching loan file
Monitor locks expiration dates and notifies appropriate individuals- monitoring system lock changes
Reviews doc requests and compares doc request to loan approval and IHM/PCLender. Insures Closing Disclosure meets TRID requirements. Delivery of closed loan file to Shipping/Servicing within required service level standards.
Prioritize workflow to meet funding deadlines.
Maintain company service levels to provide appropriate turn times.
Informed on FCMC loan programs and policies and procedures.
Interacts with Secondary Marketing, Wholesale, Retail, Accounting, Servicing, Shipping and Quality Control.
Maintains high degree of confidentiality.
Draw documents on a minimum of 6 loans daily
Reviews a minimum of 6 loans daily.
Keeps loan data updated in the system on a continual basis
Sign off conditions from docs drawn to funded status
Maintains a high level of customer service with quick response times and accurate information (both internally and externally).
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
High-level math aptitude.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Knowledge of mortgage banking, emphasizing loan programs requirements, including guarantee, security instruments, disclosures and legal requirements.
Knowledge of personal computers and applicable software. (Datatrac, Microsoft office, Microsoft Outlook and Calyx Point)
Three to five years mortgage experience with exposure to document drawing and funding procedures such as wire transfers, impounds, rescissions.VA, FHA, USDA and Conventional review and funding experience required.
Musty be fully experienced with all RESPA 2010 guidelines for HUD-1 funding process
Must be experienced in TRID and Closing Disclosure funding process
Strong mathematical skills.
Excellent administrative and/or office skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to operate a PC, including manipulation of word processing.
Ability to multi task.
