JOB SUMMARYResponsible for driving positive customer experience through thecreation and delivery of Video CPE roadmap. This includes areas such as:Set-top box portfolio management, hardware design and product requirementsfor next-generation set-top boxes and remote controls, conditionalaccess/DRM, new transcoding formats, internal and competitive analysis.Develops and defines business requirements, partner cross-functionally withdevelopment teams, manage/champion Video CPE roadmap, and spearheadcustomer experience enhancements for the installed video base. Leads crossfunctional collaboration and implementation with Advanced Engineering,Software Engineering, IT, third party vendors, Corporate Marketing,Network Operations, Customer Operations and Supply Chain.MAJOR DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify andenhance both the internal and the external customer experience.Collaborateswith engineering group to develop, define and manage Video CPE productroadmap for digital video product with a keen focus on the increasing customersatisfaction.Defines and manages development and implementation of productrequirements for all new CPE devices and updates to existing CPEmodels/families. Leads and works with a cross functional team through thedevelopment, implementation and launch of new products andfeatures.Establishes credibility with suppliers and third party vendors todirect strategy and implementation, while driving deliverabletimelines.Possesses and continues to hone knowledge base via key points ofintegration, including program guide releases, firmware upgrades, Arrisand Technicolor operating systems, and native vs. cloud-based solutions formultiple equipment options/devices.Determines and monitors key performancecustomer experience indicators for the video product portfolio.Develops andpromotes business case/plan to support future product initiatives and keynew strategies.Drives customer-facing product enhancements that generateincreased engagement, revenue growth and market penetration for the videoproduct.
