Chief Financial StrategistMust: Five (5) years experience in a senior level management andfinancial position. Competency demonstrated in the field of finance,accounting, and management. Valid Colorado driver s license, ability todrive, and willingness to travel (2-3 times per month). Acceptabledriving record and background check/drug test.Skills: Ability to take directions and follow instructions. Excellence inleadership ability demonstrated. Possess strong oral/written presentationskills with previous experience in public speaking, report writing, etc.Possess communication, technological, analytical, organizational, andproblem solving skills required of the position, including the ability tocreate/utilize a budget.Duties: Be responsible for overseeing financial department planning,development, service delivery, quality control, evaluations, anddocumentation on a daily basis. Lead coordination between all agencydepartments regarding finances. Directly supervise and provide leadershipdirection to Business Services staff on how to formulate appropriatestrategies for more cost effective and streamlined processes. Improve andmaintain operating efficiency by improving upon current operationalinfrastructure. Coordinate with the COO to identify and lead development ofnew and existing business opportunities. Assist and support the CFO in thedevelopment and implementation of the goals/supporting budgets and financialpolicies/procedures. Be responsible for the financial security of theorganization. Formulate and recommend policies onbanking/receipt/disbursement of funds, fiscal, and accounting matters.Develop, implement, and ensure the performance of standard accounting,analysis, and reporting procedures. Ensure that financial record systems aremaintained in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP), and monitor the use of all funds. Be responsible for supplyingthe COO with necessary information/analysis used in financial decisionmaking. Provide financial projections and development for future agencystrategic planning. Demonstrate a willingness to assist and lead others asappropriate, working toward the goals of the agency and within the frameworkof a team environment. Demonstrating courtesy and professionalism, shallestablish and maintain effective working relationships with patients,coworkers, and the public. Participate in and accept supervision,training, and education.
