Our focus is to offer people positive choice over their lives whichresults person centered services."Our mission is to create opportunities for people with intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities and their families to participate fully in thecommunity."A day in the life of an Adult Resource Coordaintor:The Resource Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordination andmonitoring of services and resources to develop and attain individual goalsand outcomes with optimal participation of consumer, family and friends.This position ensures that health and safety needs of individuals in servicesare met and that services are delivered according to State and Waiverguidelines and that due process protections are met.Qualifications: BA in human services or related field strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in the field of Intellectual and DevelopmentalDisabilities or appropriate combination of education and experience requiredfor applicants without a BA. Service coordination and experience working within the field ofIntellectual and Developmental Disabilities or related systems stronglypreferred. Must demonstrate good facilitation, organizational, decision-making,prioritization, and interpersonal skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work autonomously. Must have ability to maintain flexible schedule Reliable transportation to and from various locations for site visits andmonitoring.
