General Clerk I (Records Management Support)ID 2017-3957Job Location US-CO-LakewoodCategoryAdministrative/ClericalDivision Katmai Information TechnologiesType RegularFull-TimeFLSA Status a non-ExemptOverview:Follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitiveclerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence, suchas coding and filing documents in an extensive alphabetical file.Responsibilities:Maintains a Records Management Tracking System, both paper andelectronic.Processes New Accessions - collects, inventories, boxes,disposition, tracks and ships materials.Files pre-coded documents inchronological files - receiving, maintaining, retrieving and re-filingrecords and reports in the Central File Room.Record retention, retrieval,re-files and disposal.Perform WALZ System functions.Operates officeequipment, (e.g., mimeograph, photocopy, addressograph or mailingmachine).Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Associates degree or two (2) year trade school completion. In lieu ofdegree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a two year to oneyear basis.Must have strong working knowledge of Army regulations,systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals orother established guidelinesOne (1) year work experience as a General ClerkIntermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software (Word,Excel, Access and PowerPoint).Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, beexceedingly well organized, flexible.Strong organizational skills and detailoriented.Ability to multi-task.Demonstrated ability to perform diverse dutiesunder operating and deadline constraints.Demonstrates accuracy andthoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.Must obtain and maintain avalid driver's license, and be insurable by the company's insurance carrier.Supervisory:NonePhysical Demands:Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with handsand arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, alongthe periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus;occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
