Our fun, fast-paced and collaborative teamdesigns, builds, and flies the Dream Chaser Cargo System, an ambitiousflagship program to create our Nation's only commercially reusable spaceplane. With your help, we will conduct many safe and successful missionsover the next decade to deliver critical cargo to and from the InternationalSpace Station. These flights for NASA will enable us to build an unprecedentedcommercial space transportation network around the Dream Chaser, whichprovides affordable, cutting-edge orbital capability and return to Earthservices onto runways around the globe. The future of space transportation isnPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for assigned programs.Oversees and coordinates the administrative/operational aspects of ongoingprojects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager andcustomer.Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team,and line management.Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and preparesstatus reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meetproductivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention andproblem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensuresall necessary reviews and approvals are received.May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefitfuture/other projects, missions, and programs.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Develop, track and update schedules; facilitate resource leveling;validate remaining work; identify and resolve critical path conflicts;analyze impacts to schedule of any proposed changes.Handling multiple projects at one time and must be able to prioritize tasks,integrate data, and be focused on achieving mission results.Interface with various teams and must able to coordinate schedule reviews andupdates.Coordinate routine integrated master schedule (IMS) meetings with Program& Operations Management and Customer Representatives.Use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications including MS Excel, Word,and Power Point for documentation of deliverables and technical reports.Recommend and develop schedule management solutions, processes andprocedures to improve the reporting system.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hoursOther duties as assignedCOMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, andCompliance regulations (internal and external)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Recommend and develop schedule management solutions, processes andprocedures to improve the reporting system.Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, asdefined by managementSNC job descriptions are meant as summarizations only.
