This position will be responsible for proactively selling service contracts on Hach instrumentation to drive market penetration and accelerate revenue growth. The Inside Service Sales Representative will quickly build customer rapport and establish trust and credibility through a consultative selling style, thereby building a funnel of opportunities for new and expanded service contract sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Engage clients and prospects via phone to identify sales opportunities for immediate closure, funnel placement or assignment. * Execute a consultative sales strategy using Hach’s selling methodology * Follow standard work to manage directly or assign opportunities from the leads process to appropriate field seller * Utilize funnel management practices to progress service opportunities to close. * Meet and exceed monthly and annual quotas * Meet and exceed monthly and annual lead conversion quotas. * Contact and qualify lead referrals per lead cadence for new and existing customers to determine interest level and convert to sales opportunities * Handle technical and applications sales questions from customers regarding service and provide prompt, accurate answers. * Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.com * Develop customer quotations for service contracts. * Collect and provide constructive feedback to management to drive continuous improvement of inside sales process * Collaborate with internal lead qualification, support, and field sales counterparts to drive continuous improvement of sales processes * Engage in department key performance indicators (KPIs) through visual management, and countermeasures where appropriate * Collaborate with Lead Qualification team; drive improvements in the lead program/ processes

QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred * 3-5 years sales experience,progressive tele-sales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business environment * Proven ability at cross-selling and up-selling - demonstrated experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening or deepening product placement * Skilled in application and market-specific questioning techniques that uncover new sales opportunities * Ability to answer technical questions relating to the product * Knowledge of the operation of plants and or laboratories, water testing requirements and procedures, and water control regulations that apply to plants helpful * Strong organizational and time management skills * Strong working knowledge of SFDC
