Cyber Security Specialist (17000911)ASRC FederalTechnical Services is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist inColorado Springs,CO.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies potential threats and responds to reportedsecurity violations.Determines causes of security breaches. Researches,recommends, andimplements changes to procedures to protect data from futureviolations.Assists in educating users on security procedures. Generalexperience withinformation networks and their design, operation, andequipment.Interest/aptitude for information security work.Knowledge of variousinformation network software/hardware suchas:Threat/vulnerability detection -ACAS.Virus/intrusion detection -HBSS.SCCM.Various network hardware devices (switches, routers,servers, encryptors,etc.).Familiarity with information securityprocedures.Familiarity with information network elements - routers, firewalls,TEMPESTDuties:Performtasks to ensure the 50 SW TEMPEST program complies with allrequirements asdefined in AFSSI 7702 and supplementaryregulations.Conduct/documentTEMPEST assessments, write reports, updatethe database and files, assist wingcivil engineer in planning newfacilities, or reconfiguring existing facilitiesand advise of anycountermeasure requirements for new construction or upgrade,review allProject Support Agreements (PSAs), PSA changes, and projectpackagesfor facilities that will process classified national securityinformation, toinclude applicable TEMPEST requirements.COMPUSECDuties:Performstasks to ensure the 50 SW Computer Security (COMPUSEC) programcomplies withall annual Cybersecurity Assessment Program requirements asoutlined in AFMAN17-1301.Assists indevelopment, maintenance, and review ofaccreditation packages.Provides technicalanalysis and recommendations forproduct improvement.Assists indevelopment, performance, and review of theRisk Analysis for system SecurityTest and Evaluation (ST&E) plans,procedures, and reports.Maintainsand provides current and accurateaccreditation statuses.Preparesawareness materials, (e.g. posters,reminders, calendars) for dissemination.Develops security-trainingmaterial andEducation/ExperienceBachelor'sdegree or equivalent experience is required and 2-4 years ofexperience arerequired.Must havecurrent IAT Level 2 (Security ) or highercertification.PreferredAir Force TEMPEST(EMSEC) Certified through AFprovided training.Clearance Requirement Active DoD Secret Clearance required.ASRC FederalTechnical Services provides engineering and business solutions tofederalgovernment customers.
