Job ID: 20183003-21437We are seeking a Systems Architect IV in Aurora CO to support our missioncritical IT systems.JOB DESCRIPTION:This position will be responsible for the following:* Tests, calibrates, and repairs electrical, mechanical,electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicatinginstruments and equipment for conformance to established standards, andassists in formulating calibration standards.* Plans sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments andequipment, according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, andother specifications.* Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test,evaluate, and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.* Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair, andevaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring,recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. Specific tasks include:- Operation and manage a Government Furnished property (GFP) MetrologyLaboratory to service all Test Measu rement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).- Perform calibration, repair, and modification of all TMDE to includemeasuring instruments used in the course of inspection, testing andcalibration- Perform Electrostatic discharge testing and certification.- Maintain calibration and repair records to assure traceability to NationalInstitute of Standards (NIST).REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and a minimum of 8years of skills/experience or, minimum of 6 years skills/experience witha Master s Degree.* Certifications required: 8570 certification (Security +CE).* Clearance required: Active TS/SCI clearance, active poly.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Strong communication skills.* Excellent teamwork.SECURITY CLEARANCE:This position requires the candidate to have a current TS/SCI with an activePolygraph.About PeratonPeraton provides innovative, reliable solutions to the nation s mostsensitive and mission-critical programs and systems.
