SCL Health Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist in Boulder, Colorado

The Senior Quality Improvement Specialist is a strategic partner with ClinicalRisk Management, Safety/Reliability, Quality and Performance Improvementleaders across SCL Health who leads Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)teams focused on implementation of evidence based medicine. Leads theimprovement activities for their assigned specialties/service lines,departments, and/or teams that are in alignment with the organizationsvision and strategic plan. 1. Ensures that CQI teams utilize data driven, rapid improvementmethods to implement effective and sustainable improvement throughout theorganization. 2. Serves as system services subject matter expert in healthcareimprovement in areas such as: expertise in evidence based medicine,EMR/CPOE rules and alerts, design of practice support tools, physicianengagement strategies, development and use of appropriate measures inclinical dashboards, performance improvement, project management, andchange management strategies. 3. Partners with data experts throughout SCL Health to support CQI teamswith clinical dashboards and other measurement needs. 4. Forms relationships and works effectively across Care Sites to helpfacilitate coordination of efforts between other shared services (ie:Supply Chain, STSC, Finance, Enterprise Learning & Personal Development). 5. Develop effective working relationships with quality, infectionprevention, risk, performance improvement, safety and other key leadersat care sites through understanding of local goals, key committees andleaders, best practices, operational challenges, improvementpriorities, etc and periodically attend key care site committee meetingsboth remotely and in-person when appropriate. Located in Broomfield, CO. Required: Master's degree in areas including, but not limited to, healthcare, engineering, information technology, and business administrationis required. Eight years of experience in healthcare quality improvement or equivalentcombination of education, training and experience. Preferred: Clinical background strongly desired.
