This is a highly impactful senior leader role that offers avariety of career paths into higher level Plexus leadership.As part of the Design Center Senior Management Team, the DOE will lead theDesign Center staff which includes Engineering, Functional Management andProject Management teams. Additionally, the DOE will partner with the SrSite Director and Global peer Directors on critical site priorities: talentselection and development, site strategic planning, technical projectexecution, senior level customer management, quality systems, andfinancial oveJob Responsibilities: * A critical leader of the people within the site: communicating,motivating, and mentoring staff to translate vision and strategy toeffective action. * Defines and drives the engineering vision for the site, includingdefining and balancing the need for talent acquisition and development,technology advancement, financial management, and succession planning inorder to support our customers and exceed our enduring goals. * Drives business development through communication of the Plexus brandand capabilities, leading business and technical discussions, anddefining/executing strategies on how to win business. * Key accountable leader for execution of customer projects andengagements (internal & external); leads management team to ensureproject and team success. * Recruits, develops, and oversees project and/or functionalmanagers within the site. * Work with senior site level management to create and maintain asuccession plan to ensure high potential employees are identified and preparedto fill critical management positions. * Effectively develops and leverages senior level relationships withexternal and internal (sector/region/manufacturing) customers. * Leads and inspires the entire site to ensure quality is built into ourproducts by owning the quality system, design processes, cross-designcenter work sharing and ensuring technical success. * Travel will be required to meet the needs of the business (estimatedAll offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a drugscreen and upon completion of a confidentiality agreement.Our Values and How We Lead behaviors guide our processes.
