Description/Job SummaryMISSION STATEMENTTo demonstrate the value of technology and automation (TA) for ourcustomers and help drive sustained growth of existing and new technologies forthe Epiroc MR products while building customer relationships and developingnew business opportunities that enhance and expand our company s presence and relevance to our customer s operationsGENERAL PURPOSEThis dynamic, market oriented individual will work with the Epiroc USAbusiness lines, (TA) product managers and customers to identify (TA)opportunities and help to market and sell technology options currentlyavailable. The position will focus primarily on the introduction, sales and implementation of the Mobilaris softwareproducts. The individual will also work with current and future undergroundand surface mining (TA) products to enhance our current offerings with theintent to establish our position as leading mining equipment and technology solutions provider to ourcustomers.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMobilaris sales and business developmentSupport sales and marketing efforts for (TA) productsIdentify technology support requirements for Mobilaris installation andtechnical supportIntroduce Mobilaris product potential to surface mining applicationsIdentify other (TA) opportunities with customersPrepare and present (TA) to customer and internal groupsWork with BLMs, PMs, and sales force to develop (TA) value propositionsBecome the US Customer Center advisor in mining software and technologyapplicationsProvide feedback for new (TA) development opportunitiesPresent merger and acquisition opportunities to US CC leadership teamParticipate in new product development programs including voice of thecustomer researchProvide technical feedback and information to product divisions regarding useand application of software productsTravel to customer locations when necessary to successfully fulfill goalsDevelop case studies demonstrating the value of technology to customersOTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain open line of communication with business line managers to understandtheir technology needs and specific strategies with customersCreate of a strategic plan for Epiroc in the US to become a total solutionprovider for underground miningCommunicate regularly with Mobilaris leadership to coordinate goals andobjectivesManage Mobilaris sales and technical team and develop scope andresponsibilities to avoid duplication of effortsBecome competent in URE product lines and various applications attendingproduct training when available.Competency in surface products to followUnderstand and utilize information and communication systems/tools, i.e.e-mail; Underground, Rock and Surface Manager; Microsoft Office software, etc.Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called uponto do so either by design or circumstance.JOB QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.
