Summary:This position provides a long-term career opportunity for a highly motivatedindividual with exceptional organizational skills who is willing to learn andgrow.This individual will: Use organizational skills and attention to detail to manage theoperational side of the agency, and provide administrative support to theagency owners allowing them to focus on sales and growing the agency. Use communication skills, knowledge of insurance processing, andproficiency in agency software to secure information from existing andprospective clients, prepare quotes and proposals, interact with carriersand troubleshoot rating, process applications and renewals, and providecustomer service to existing clients. Help to grow the business by maintaining accurate and current prospectand client information in EZLynx, securing renewal dates from existing andprospective clients, providing follow-up with client or facilitating clientcontact with agency management prior to renewal dates.The CSR will work directly with agency owners, and should enjoy working as ateam member in a flexible, friendly, small office environment. Asbusiness expands this position may grow to include the hiring, training andsupervision of additional customer service staff.Primary Responsibilities:1. Process applications, renewals and coverage changes: Gather, enter necessary client and prospect information to EZLynx Complete applications: Submit accurate information to carriers forrating; Troubleshoot rating issues; Prepare quotes & proposals forpresentation to clients; Finalize and submit applications to selectedcarrier; Follow up to ensure timely receipt of policies or quotes Process Renewals: Review current policies/coverages foraccuracy/adequacy prior to renewal; Verify/Update client information;Submit corrections and/or changes; Follow up to ensure completion Schedule client contact with appropriate person as needed Track, document and verify completion of all policy processing activities2. Provide superior service: Thoroughly understand EZLynx Suite and fully use its components andcapabilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of P&C rating, application, andclaim processing Conversant with carrier company websites, rating platforms, how totroubleshoot rating errors, and finalize quotes Assist clients with billing and coverage inquiries Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims; Mitigateadditional damage; Facilitate partner assistance and prompt response;Follow up on claims status to keep client informed Provide timely follow-up and documentation on all service situationsthrough resolution Promote Client Center access and usage Generate documents and produce correspondence to satisfy client servicerequests or to provide automated information, as needed by client Process incoming and outgoing mail Answer incoming calls in a timely manner3. Be a team member in accomplishing agency goals, and a partner inbuilding agency business: Keep informed regarding industry information, new productinformation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledgeand stay current Verify/Update client information in EZLynx during every client contact Use EZLynx tools for client documentation and timely communication withagency team Secure renewal dates and coverage information on current/prospective clients Promote Agency Referral Program to existing clients for new businessprospects Produce EZLynx reports as requested by agency management Assist with agency newsletters, correspondence and email campaigns Train and mentor new staff4.
