We create valueby developing and managing a world-class portfolio of high-quality logisticsand distribution facilities, serving customers and investors as an integralpart of the global supply chain.Job Title:Director, Global EnvironmentalCompany:PrologisJob Description:Position Responsibilities:Direct appropriate scope and perform detailed review of third partyenvironmental reports for acquisitions, fund initiatives, financinginitiatives, leasing, dispositions and ongoing remediation activities withminimal direction from Manager.Review consultant performance, including project budgets and completeness ofenvironmental underwriting assumptions.Create and manage systems to track resolution of critical environmentalissues.Manage and monitor contractor performance on environmental remediationprojects.Assist in development and maintenance of project documentation.Prepare technical and financial documentation in support of environmental costrecovery activities, tenant inquiries, litigation support, and incidentresponse.Other duties as assigned.Essential Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Engineering or relevant fieldTen years relevant work experience (Phase I and Phase II Environmental SiteAssessments, risk assessment, remedial design, cost estimation,environmental insurance products, etc.)Working knowledge of commercial building operationsProject management experience with demonstrated attention to detail andaccuracyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlinesPositive, proactive 'team player' mentality, with a sense of urgencyand follow-throughAbility to work independently to achieve objectives without constant oversightAbility to communicate effectively (oral and written)High degree of proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteDiscretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitivedocumentationNonessential Skills & Experience:MBA or relevant advanced degree (underway or completed)Ability to critically analyze ideas and proposals and think holisticallyCapable of working proactively, independently, and with exceptionalattention to detailSelf-motivated and willing to be judged on resultsFlexibility and creativity in approach to new ideas and projectsPrologis offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive selection of benefitoptions, including 401(k) with company match.
