The Learning & Development Manager will work in the fast-paced, dynamicWisdom department, designing, developing, coordinating, and evaluatingtraining with an emphasis on new and innovative ways to reach teammates aroundthe world. Training curricula will focus on leadership, management, andculture development across the DaVita Village.This teammate will manage a team of training coordinators and work closelywith other departments to ensure alignment of cross-functional trainingand/or roll out initiatives. The teammate will serve as an instructionaldesigner supporting Wisdom's DaVita University (DVU) and coach others inlearning and applying instructional design principles.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManages the performance and professional development of a team of trainingcoordinators responsible for planning traditional classroom and virtuallearning events.Drives the analysis, design, development, implementation, andevaluation of course curriculum, content, materials, and learning toolsin collaboration with Wisdom faculty and other teammates.Provides expertise in instructional design and learning technologies to expandthe reach of virtual instructor-led, online, microlearning videos, andblended classroom.Performs learning needs analyses, develops learning objectives, and offersmultiple learning solutions that meet business needs.Develops, analyzes, and reports findings of learning evaluations andidentifies learner trends to drive continuous improvement.Understands and effectively incorporates Wisdom leadership and managementmodels in instructional design.An ideal candidate will have:Experience leading a team in a supervisory roleA background in blended learning instructional design and learningtechnologiesDemonstrated ability to design, develop, and evaluate complex trainingcurriculumExperience designing and producing microlearning videosPassion for developing othersTravel and Time RequirementsTravel: 10-15%Education And ExperienceBachelor's Degree requiredSupervisory experience requiredIntermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint,Excel, and Outlook requiredDemonstrated expertise in designing training to deliver on both in-person andonline platforms requiredKnowledge of adult learning theory and training techniques requiredInstructional Design certificate preferredDaVita is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
