The safe and efficient receipt, storage and distribution of the company’s products (cases and kegs) using forklifts and/or walkie-riders in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: All warehouse employees, regardless of assignment:
- Understand and follow quality assurance standards to ensure proper product rotation so the earliest dates are shipped first.
a. Must use inventory RF “guns” whenever /receiving moving product to ensure inventory accuracy.
Responsible for conducting a daily pre and post-shift inspection of assigned vehicle(s) to ensure safe operation and proper maintenance of the equipment.
Apply safe work standards in all tasks to minimize risk of injury or damage to property and inventory; authorized and responsible for checking co-workers on same.
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and work space.
Must comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations along with Coors Distributing Company Policies and Procedures.
Any warehouse employee may be assigned to any of the following general tasks:
a. The loading and/or unloading of delivery vehicles (to include sales vans) by ensuring the correct product and date code is pulled.
b. Delivery truck check in: confirming accuracy of product returned post delivery
c. The receiving and unloading of product to be placed into inventory. This product may be received from an Over-The-Road truck or local truck.
d. Shipping out distributor orders, dunnage (empties), pallets, etc. and ensuring proper paperwork with each.
e. Vertique – replenishment: Forklift operation to load pallets of product into identified locations
f. Vertique – loading: Manually moving cases of beer into the system towers.
g. Vertique – hand stack: Checking completed pallets of product for accuracy and adding any additional cases as required.
h. Vertique – system operation: Overseeing system flow to ensure accuracy of product and correct any jams or errors prior to palletizing.
i. Vertique – cart loads: manually loading carts off of the system
j. Kegs – picking and loading kegs for delivery to the loading bays
k. Truck Jockey – moving both CDC and brewery trucks into and out of docks for efficient loading and unloading.
l. Monitor all breakage and repack daily to verify that all is written off or accounted for properly by inventory specialist
m. Verify that all product that is repacked is up to brewery quality standards
n. Assist in developing repack materials order as needed
o. Train/cross-train temporary employees in the proper procedures for the work area as needed
Basic understanding of windows-based computer skills.

Some of our suppliers include: MillerCoors, Constellation, Heineken USA, New Belgium Brewing Co, Pabst USA, Mark Anthony’s, Oskar Blues, Boston Beer, and Sierra Nevada, just to name a few.
1) All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding and labor-intensive, and candidates must pass warehouse POPET
a. Lifting up to 30 pounds as many as 2500 times per shift
b. Lifting up to 165 pounds periodically.
2) Must be capable of passing Coors Distributing Company’s certification for warehouse equipment (forklift and/or Walkie-rider).
3) Basic computer skills helpful.
4) Shift and hours may be subject to change based on company demands.
5) Must have a high school diploma or GED; be literate in the English language
6) Must be at least 21 years of age.
7) Prefer a minimum of two years of prior warehouse experience.
8) Position requires physical presence within CDC
