Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Strategic Pursuit Coordinators are specialists in planning, organizing,managing and producing targeted marketing efforts and communication forvarious teams and projects, including creating informational products tosupport these efforts.Primary Responsibilities**Approximately 60% travel is required**The Strategic Pursuit Team's primary goal is to proactively work with teamson large or strategic pursuit opportunities to gain market share and toelevate HDR's stature in the industry.A pursuit refers to a tailored marketing effort that aims at winning newbusiness or maintaining existing client relationships for HDR's Water,Transportation, Federal and Resources business groups.Must have strong communication skills, be capable of working withmulti-disciplinary teams and be able to motivate others. As a senior-levelmarketing coordinator, the Strategic Pursuit Coordinator will partner withand support the pursuit team's leader and team members with planning,organization production coordination of proposals, presentations and othermarketing collateral. This person will also be responsible for assisting teamswith the development, tracking and implementation of pursuit captureplans, note taking, document organization, assisting in the developmentof key messages and win themes, managing individual and team deadlines andcoordinating efforts with other offices, teaming partners, subconsultantsand s*LI-KV1QualificationsRequired QualificationsSkills require a balance of leadership and support with a strong focus oncustomer service. Tasks may include writing, editing, informationalresearch, developing graphics concepts, coordinating other team membersand event planning. Must have strong communication skills and the ability tomotivate others.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism,Communications, or related area, and a minimum of 3 years industryexperience is recommended.A successful candidate should have experience managing large, complexproposals, including coordinating, leading and managing the pursuit process.Ability to work on complex and multi-part projects independentlyEngineering/Architectural industry experience preferredAbility to learn basic technical engineering conceptsAbility to work with multi-disciplinary teamsExcellent problem solving, time management, organizational and projectmanagement skillsAbility to develop protocols, processes and systems and contribute toimproving the efficiency of the business and teamDemonstrated leadership experience in leading, mentoring and engaging adiverse team of marketing, communications and graphic design professionalsSuperior interpersonal and negotiation skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsUnderstanding of graphic design and document layout principlesMastery of strategic marketing communication conceptsProficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe InDesignExperience in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop,and Prezi recommendedApproximately 60% travel is requiredAt HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.
