UMB Bank TM Sales Officer in Denver, Colorado
Duties and Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for business development and consultative sales for the Treasury team and will spend approximately 60% of the time traveling. Success for this role will be measured on outcome of achievement to established new revenue goal.
-Work with internal partners for focused sales on joint opportunities, attend loan committee meetings to mine new client opportunities, attend conferences/trade shows to self source new prospects.
-Utilize all core Treasury products, merchant services, card offerings, etc to begin a relationship bringing to the table all the key experts to close the sale/transaction.
-Manage pipeline for accuracy.
-Transition new client to a Portfolio Manager and will continue to cross sell the client for 12 months.
-Responsible for representing Treasury Management in internal and external settings.
-Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
-Demonstrates superior strategic sales knowledge
-Demonstrates ability to prospect and network at various levels within a company
-Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
-Demonstrates high level of Treasury Management product knowledge
-Demonstrates knowledge of credit and operational risk-ability to quantify potential exposure and advise team
-Demonstrates strong knowledge of market/industry trends
-Demonstrates good time management skills to balance business development versus portfolio management to meet goals
-Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

-8 years proven treasury mgmt sales experience
-Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
-Certified Cash Management (CCM)
