181260 Sr Staff Analyst, Business Operations (Open Date: 03/13/2018)Seagate is hiring for a Senior Staff Analyst for Business Operations. Thisposition will be located at our office in Longmont, CO. In this role, youwill report directly to our Director of Client and Consumer Storage. This is afull-time role with a competitive compensation and benefits package.In this role, your responsibilities will include:Maintains complete knowledge and understanding of customer forecast plans,sales revenue plans and manufacturing/material plans.Performs data and information analysis leading to business decisions orrecommendations. Frequently includes preparation of reports and otherdocuments.Has wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and companyobjectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires anin-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selectingmethods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networkswith key contacts outside own area of expertise.Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinateactivities of other personnel.Conducts ongoing analysis and interpretation of customer consumption andfulfillment adjustments to determine future trends.Applies knowledge of internal product and revenue strategies, interacts withSeagate internal sales force to achieve a balanced strategy in fulfillingcustomer delivery requirements.Manages the pilot/risk build and new product transition to ensure productfulfillment meets customer delivery requirementsWork with internal teams to validate upcoming product launches, SKUtransitions, and EOL plans ensure internal communications are up to dateand valid.Run weekly cross- functional meetings. Compile and present operations datarelative to demand/supply and associated actions.Provide allocation priorities in supply constrained environment.
