Westcon Group Account Manager in Louisville, Colorado
Own the daily quoting, ETA and order activity of named and developingaccounts in our Security Practice. Support the development of positiverelationships with account reseller base that is focused on providing cybersecurity solutions. This is an inside sales role requiring the ability toengage and coordinate communication of multiple internal resources and vendorresources to enhance our customers effectiveness in the market.Duties and Responsibilities Include:* Generate and provide customer quotes for complex or custom solutions* Manage accurate daily pipeline activity to support quota and forecast* Establish strategies that will result in increased sales (both existingand new customers)* Conduct face-to-face sales calls to accounts as necessary* Analyze technology needs of the customer* Penetrate customer accounts at the manager/director levels* Develop and present programs, solutions, and promotions related to thevendor product line* Provide guidance/training to resellers in selling and supporting Westconsolutions* Provide customer with guidance and support during the contract process* Facilitate appropriate arrangement of finance options by presentingcustomers' situations and issues* Carry out vendor promotions and marketing activities* Develop and maintain vendor relationships that produce referral businessopportunities* Gain thorough understanding of customer business and strategic plans as theyrelate to Westcon products and services* Develop 3-way relationships (vendor, Westcon-customer) to increasebusiness for all three partiesQualifications:* 2+ years sales experience, cold-calling and establishing leads* Strong technology aptitude across a wide breadth of topics (NetworkSecurity, Data, Cloud, etc.)* Knowledge of and ability to accurately apply pricing, Gross Profit,discounts, margin calculations* Familiarity with principles of promoting and demonstrating products andservices.* Excellent phone and email communication skills* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/SAP and Salesforce* BS/BA in relevant fieldWestconGroup, Inc. is a value added Information Technology distributor ofcategory-leading unified communications & collaboration technology,network infrastructure, data center, data/telecom and IT/Data &Network security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers.
