Global Healthcare Exchange Inc. Sr Accountant III in Louisville, Colorado

This position assists the accounting department with monthly accounting andreconciliations with a focus on global compensation and benefits.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: The essential responsibilities for this position are including but notlimited to the following:Preparing reconciliations accurately and timely each month with a heavy focuson commissions, payroll and employee benefit related areas for US andEuropean entities, with all reconciling items researched, documented andresolved as appropriatePerforming operating expense flux analysisReviewing global payroll information and properly recording all relatedtransactions in the general ledger via journal entriesEnsuring the company financial records are kept in accordance with GenerallyAccepted Accounting PrinciplesSupporting projects within the accounting function to ensure continuousimprovement of accounting processes, identify areas of improvement andsubsequently implement new efficienciesAssisting with additional projects on an ad-hoc basis at the direction of theAccounting ManagerWorking directly with the EU accounting team to ensure accurate accruals andexpenses are recorded monthlyAssisting in establishing and maintaining internal controlsAnalyzing operating costs and works with the Financial Planning and Analysisteam to determine proper accrualsProviding requested documentation to external auditors as well as accuratelyresponding to questions related to that documentationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance2 - 5 years related work experiencePreferred QualificationsTechnology industry experience is desirable, but not essentialGlobal accounting experiencePublic accounting experienceCPAExperience using Microsoft Dynamics NAVRequired Skills:Self-motivated and proactive with ability to work under minimum supervisionStrong time-management skillsStrong work ethic - ability to prioritize and work in a demandingdetail-oriented environmentStrong ethical and confidentiality standards are essentialEnthusiastic team player willing to assist others where necessaryStrong analytical, technological, communication and organizational skillsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsHighly advanced skills in ExcelGlobal Healthcare Exchange, LLC and its North American subsidiaries(collectively, GHX ) provides equal employment opportunities(EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard torace, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationalorigin, age, disability, marital status, amnesty, or status as acovered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.GHX complies with applicable state and local laws governing non-discriminationin employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
