This includes, but is not limited to, vocational training,ensuring that the work assigned is completed daily and in an appropriatemanner, and ensuring that the work completed is documented appropriately.The Enclave Supervisor must be willing to work along with the people inservices as a role model and to demonstrate actual job tasks during thetraining process. The Enclave Supervisor must be able to maintain appropriatework standards to the highest degree, and may be required to perform theseservices in various sites within the community.QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License with a driving record approved by North Metro High school diploma or GED One-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilitiespreferred. A degree in human services or related field may be substituted forexperience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reliable, regular attendance and punctuality Supervise and train all persons in services Monitor compliance to internal work instructions and adhere to OSHAregulations Responsible for identifying performance standards and communicating themto enclave participants Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, co-workersand the general public as a representative of NMCS Ability to safely operate the vehicle in all traffic and weatherconditions throughout the Denver Metro area Access, input and retrieve information from a computer Attend and participate in meetings as requested by supervisor Ability to assess vocational skills, strengths and weakness, andareas of interest for people in service Complete time studies with people in services as directed by supervisor Develop natural supports in the community and facilitate positiverelationships in the community Create and implement consistent, positive, accurate communicationwith family and team members Write and implement Individual Support and Service plans as requested byTeam Leader Attend workshops, in-services, and training sessions as assigned bysupervisor Supervise, train and assist in the completion of assigned tasks on thecontract Complete area specific paperwork (daily, weekly & monthly) as assigned Assist in development and implementation of Behavior ManagementAddendums, including all tracking specified in each individual servicepl Accurately complete time cards for each assigned participantPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability and willingness to safely lift, pivot, pull in the use ofvarious types of equipment including but not limited to the following: 15passenger van, vehicle lifts, dolly, janitorial carts, scrubbers,shredding machines, box crushers, vacuums box cutters, brooms,shovels, gloves, and protective masks Ability to lift items to shoulder level or above Ability to bend at the hips and knees Independently push and pull 250 pound rolling dollies, pallet jacks,and wheelchairs Ability to independently stand, lift, and pivot transfer 75 lbs. inthe movement of materials, and in the assistance of participants Complete and pass training on the use of all equipment used in thejanitorial industry Use computer to access, retrieve and generate information Ability to use personal vehicle in the performance of job duties as needed Ability to utilize agency vehicles and drive up to 500 miles weekly Adhere to flexible schedule as dictated by consumer and customer
